Simply to repair phones needs only two categories of Technics which are hardware and software technics
Hardware technics deals with opening phones and replacing, removing or adding the spare parts of it while software technics deals with management of running OS and programs (this is where the word flashing comes through).
And now you have a clue about what mostly we will be doing here, haven't you? it is flashing pal, means we gonna repair and find different software solution that stops your clients' phones from working properly or even booting up.
PRE-REQUISITES NEEDED FOR FLASHING ANY PHONE.
What will you need for flashing or software troubleshoot any software problem of any phone
- Computer (desktop or laptop).
Windows Os running PC are preferable here. Mac cant do the job for you? They are powerful devices so they can but you will be missing so many things here. Pre-intalled drivers should be in this computer in to work as a bridge of connection with your phone
2. Corresponding USB
Apple USB, normal USB and type C USB, depending on which phone u intend to deal with at the exact time
3. Internet source
This only comes for the downloading and browsing purposes
4. Box, Dongle or Flashtool
Here comes the really deal. If you don't see the difference between the guy with computer and the phone technician who use computer to repair phones, the difference is that these technicians own (bought) the Repairing boxes and dongles or paid for some flashtools for business.

So, What are these?
Box or Dongle is physical tool which should be connected to a computer with pre-installed software on computer, then the box or dongle will confirm the command from the computer by signatures per developer needs. so when you use the tools you will only be able to do whats already written in commands. Flash tools are only software programs which doesn't need any physical device to be connected to your computer in order to run so you will need to install it or just run it and boom!
The Good news is many of these tools are free, just find a link and download.
Many flashtools are from the official websites for phone supports like iTunes for iOS devices, Sony companion for sony etc
5. SD card
Not always needed but will save from troubles and sometimes help you to get easiest money if you like😄
